Emma Malabuyo and Maile O'Keefe to Compete at Junior Japan

After dominating the junior field at the P&G Championships, junior super stars, Maile O'Keefe and Emma Malabuyo have been selected to represent the Team USA juniors at Junior Japan Invitational in Yokohoma.

This will be a chance for them to show what they've got on the international stage. At the last Junior Japan, Team USA sent Laurie Hernandez and her bestie Jazmyn Foberg. As per usual, they dominated the competition, medaling in every event and going one-two in the all-around.

The Junior Japan Invitation will be held this year September 17-18.

At the 2017 P&G Championships, Maile won her second junior national title with a two day total of 114.450. Emma took second with a two day total of 112.450.

They will both turn senior in 2018.

Maile is committed to the University of Utah for 2020-21 season and Emma is committed to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) for the 2021-22 season.
