Bars Training with Team USA in Rio

The ladies of Team USA have arrived in Rio and have begun preparing for their expected Olympic domination.

Photos and videos are beginning to surface of the team. Instead of donning the traditional hot pink training leos that have been associated with team USA since the dawn of time, the ladies sport a patriotic red leo with a blue stripe with white stars. Simple, minimalist and definitly not hot pink. #RipHotPinkNation.

For videos, the amazing Full Gymnastics on YouTube has posted three videos of the ladies training on the uneven bars.

We first get a clip of Madison Kocian, resident USA bars ninja. Her routine is so jam packed with in bar goodness that she is the master of. Of course, she ends with a stuck full in dismount. Mic drop, boom.

We have Gabrielle Douglas who is also beautiful on the bars. Since she's grown since 2012, I always notice how long an lovely her lines are. She shows excellent control and flexility in her endos and transitions with ease from low to high.

Last but not least, we have Simone. Bars is Simone's weakest event, and by weakest, it's possibly her lowest start value event. But she's Simone and she's still so awesome, that she can make an event final with her routine.
