Maggie Nichols Responds to Haters with Class

US Gymnast, Maggie Nichols has rose to a prominent position on the US scene.  Maggie has had a fantastic year.

She placed third at the Tokyo World Cup in April of last year and then went on to take two more bronze medals at the Secret Classic and the P&G Championships. She was then selected for the Pan American Championships where she helped team USA bring home another team gold and she scored another bronze medal in the all-around.

This past weekend, at the City of Jesolo Trophy, she helped team USA cinch another gold medal in the team competition. Individually, she placed seventh in the all around. Not bad especially for someone coming off of a knee injury she sustained at Pan Ams. She's become incredibly consistent and a rock for team USA.

That doesn't mean she doesn't get negative attention and criticism. In this screen shot - Maggie responds to a critic on a YouTube video of her with class:

After she concludes her elite career - Maggie has committed to the University of Oklahoma for the 2017 school year.
