Aliya Mustafina Keeps the German Doctors In Business

The gymternet nearly fainted this week when Aliya Mustafina posted a picture of her ankle in a boot on her Instagram account.

Not to worry, Aliya flew to Germany to have some clean up surgery on her ankle. She'll be able to do some running and leaping in about two weeks and should be able to start tumbling again in about four weeks.

Also dealing with ankle injuries, Viktoria Komova said she and Ksenia Afanasyeva will be able to start running and doing leaps and what not in a month, but it will still be a while until they can be back to doing more difficult tumbling.

It may be time to just have those Round Lake girls just live in Germany to save on airfare everytime someone seriously injures herself.
