Larisa Iordache is back for 2014 and as fierce as ever.
Today, at the first day of the Doha World Cup, Larisa, who was looking fierce in a red leo, took the first place prize in the vault final.
The 17-nearly-18-year-old Larisa won with an average of 14.337. For her first vault, she does a powerful double twisting yurchenko that she could practically land on the other side of the world with the distance she gets. Her second vault, she does a nice Tsukahara full.
She looks very confident and she just knows she's got this. Kicking ass, just another day in the life of Larisa Iordache.
Slovenia's Teja Belak took 2nd with a 14.1, followed by Hiu Ying Angel Wong of Hong Kong.
On the uneven bars, the winner was Czech gymnast, Kristyna Palesova, who may not have the most difficult routine in the world, but her form was beautiful. Exquisite extension, beautiful toe point amplitude. She overarched her back slightly on a bail to handstand from the high bar, but overall, gorgeous routine.
