Rheagan Courville's Beautiful Beam Skills

Rheagan Courville is one of many standout athletes competing in the NCAA.

Rheagan is a senior at Louisiana State University and one of their many standouts. Tumblr showed me these GIFs of her training a standing Arabian and a forward aerial walk over on beam.  While the NCAA gymnastics program has been criticized for not having a high level of difficulty, it's a place to see beautifully executed skills.

Rheagan's Arabian is one of the most perfect standing Arabians I have ever seen. She has beautiful height and amplitude and she lands standing straight up, not hunched over to the beam like many other gymnasts I've seen attempt that skill (I'm not naming names, but you know who you are!). This arabian rival's USA junior, Nia Dennis. Her forward aerial is beautifully extended, it's just music to my eyes.

For comparison to see just how perfect Rhegan's standing arabian is, here is a GIF of Nia Dennis's perfect arabian. Be prepared to be awed at it's perfection.
