Aly Raisman is Going For Rio

Aly Raisman is hoping to go Brazilian...

For the Rio De Janiero Olympic Games in 2016!

According to Fansided.com, the Fierce Five Captain is hoping for an Olympic bid in 2016. London was a success for Aly and she's hoping to make it a repeat event in Rio.

"I love gymnastics a lot and I just figured I'd keep doing it until I can't do it anymore," she said. "I love the sport and I had an amazing summer, so I want to hopefully have that again."

Aly is currently vying for the mirror ball trophy on Dancing With the Stars. She and her partner, Mark Ballas topped the leader-board last week. Aly has been loving the experience so much that she is thinking of using the techniques she's learned on Dancing in the floor exercise. Perfect timing since the new code rewards strong creativity and artistry on the floor exercise.

If she made the US team for Rio, Aly would be 22 and a veteran. At the last Olympics, the United States was one of the only teams that did not have a veteran or two on their team. The previous US Olympic Gold medal winning team had three Olympic veterans on the team.

Aly's expecting to return to training this summer after she is finished on Dancing With the Stars.
